Manufactured by combining two different polymers together into one fiber
Much stronger than traditional polypropylene – up to 30% stronger for equal diameters
Will float
Will not absorb water
Resistant to fuel, most chemicals, and UV light
Abrasion-resistant
Low elasticity or stretch
Much more durable and lasts longer than standard polypropylene
Will not rot
Easy to splice
Can be stored wet
Ideal when a very strong, lightweight rope with moderate stretch is needed. Especially useful in a wet marine environment.
