- Used primarily for fish trawling. Our chaffer is woven into the bottom of a trawl (net) to reduce the amount of wear, tear, and abrasion (chafing) when the net is pulled onto or scrapes against rocks and sand
- 100% Polyethylene
- Loosely twisted
- Flexible
- Available in virgin or regrind polyethylene
- Crimps easily
- Holds it’s shape well after being crimped
- Available in 100 pound (45.3 kilo) coils or in 50 pound (22.7 kilo) coils
